Everyone deserves to feel better. Some low feelings are organic--we can't seem to pinpoint where or why they started. This may be the case with depression or anxiety, for instance. Some are more situation-specific, such as relationship issues, grief or loss. And loss can mean a number of things. If you've experienced it, such as a loss of an old way of thinking or believing after surgery, you understand my meaning when I say loss can mean a lot of things.
In my practice, therapy is aimed at reducing the pain caused by depression, anxiety, trauma, stressors, and the underreported pain of narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships. But that wouldn't be our only gain. I believe that you should look to experiencing joy in your everyday life--and who couldn't benefit from that, at least in some small measure?
What is Virtual Therapy, anyway?
Sessions can be held here, in my space, or there, in yours--virtually--through a HIPAA-compliant format through your computer, tablet or smart phone.We meet on an online platform from a place of your choosing--your sofa, bedroom, office space. You will need a comfortable place to sit and a screen to view but that you aren't holding. You can use your phone for your screen, but it will need to be propped up so that your hands are free.
